I loved this book! Is a fun read with a fast-moving, serpentine plot that keeps you guessing and holds your attention from beginning to end. Dr. Catlett's deft characterization of the protagonist and key players is masterful, with dialogue and scene-setting evocative of their personalities, motivations, flaws, and pathologies. He also gives the reader insight as to the inner workings of the FDA and clinical research. Although a work of fiction, he creates a believable story of smart, driven people, some with the right intentions and some without, in a high-stakes race--toward good and toward bad. There is a lot of subtle humor in this book, too, that readers familiar with FDA, medicine, hospital care and biomedical research will appreciate.. Definitely a great read. Julie Z.Product details
